Supercell's hit mobile strategy game "Clash Of Clans" had another update heading its way next month. The December update was announced last October, however, the contents and the release date of the update is yet to be revealed.
Rumors suggest that "Clash Of Clan" players are in for a treat this December because Supercell will be implementing huge changes in the game. According to Game N Guide, notable changes include an improved aerial defense and new appearances for some units. The latter includes the Wall Breakers, Hog Riders, and Golems.
Moreover, a new hero is also slated for release, along with new troops. The rumored "The Red Barbarian King" hero is highly-anticipated by "Clash Of Clans" players. The December update may just be the patch that will unleash all the new units in addition to the "Shipwreck" infrastructure.
As for the Holiday season celebration, Supercell also has something special up their sleeve. If rumors stay true, the "Clash Of Clans" December 2016 update will also bring out the Christmas event. The said event will grace players with XP boosts and bonus resources.
Sources claim that all these big changes coming our way is likely because Supercell is preparing to go against their known rival, Niantic's "Pokemon Go." According to News Everyday, Supercell is whipping up the big guns.
"Clash Of Clans" has been one of the top mobile games for a few years now, and no one saw "Pokemon Go" coming at all. Niantic's location-based game took the world by storm and as a result, dethroning "Clash Of Clans" from their comfy seat on top.
Supercell, of course, will not simply stand by and watch their competitor dominate the market. Hence, the game developers engage in a healthy competition to reign supreme in the mobile gaming industry.
It is worth mentioning that "Pokemon GO's" popularity may increase since "Pokemon Sun and Moon" just came out. The two will definitely be mutually beneficial to one another, and Supercell still has a trick up their sleeves.
In "Clash Of Clans'" Twitter page, it was announced that a new mini-game was being developed by Supercell entitled "Clash-O-Rama." Little is known about this new attraction, but one thing is for sure, it already has fans hyped up.
Will Niantic's "Pokemon Go" be the new reigning mobile game? Or will Supercell's "Clash Of Clans" dish out enough goodies to remain on top? Stay tuned to Jobs & Hire for more updates on the exciting battle between mobile game developers.
