Missing Federal Investigator Sandra Coke Identified After Autopsy, Her Ex-Boyfriend Is Primary Suspect [VIDEO & REPORT]

The remains of a woman found within close proximity to a park in Northern California has been identified as missing federal investigator Sandra Coke. 50-year-old Coke has been identified after the completion of autopsy results from the Alameda County Coroner's office. Johnna Watson of the Oakland police declined to discuss the federal investigator's death, sources say.

Sandra Coke who lived in Oakland went missing. A missing person's report was filed by family members in August 4. Earlier, a 58-year-old sex offender by the name of Randy Alana was identified by police as a suspect for the disappearance of the federal investigator. Alana has a criminal history of kidnapping and rape but according to a friend of Sandra Coke, Coke and Alana dated before. "The two dated over 20 years ago," Dan Abrahamson told media. "He reappeared in the Bay Area rather recently and reached out to Sandra for help," he added

Investigators believe the two were together when Coke went missing. Alana was brought to custody Tuesday and is reportedly being held in Dublin, California's Santa Rita Jail without bail, Alameda County online records reveal. He is to be arraigned on Aug. 16 at the Alameda County Superior Court

According to a spokesperson for the Coke family, Sandra was last seen Sunday in her home with her 15-year-old daughter. She later left her home to follow a lead on her missing dog, sources say. Sandra's best friend Wendy Springer told ABC News, "There's no question something had happened. There's no way she would have ever left her daughter there alone."

Sandra was looking for her dog Ginny after it disappeared when someone broke into the Coke home. Sandra reportedly offered a reward just to get her dog back. Her sister Tanya told media, "She told her daughter that someone called about the dog."

Coke's family told reporters Sandra left her home to meet the person who called her about her dog. She had hoped to be gone for just half an hour but she never returned. Coke's 15-year-old daughter then tracked Sandra's work and personal iPhones but they've been already dumped. One was dumped in a highway of Richmond, California, the other was dumped in Oakland. "The phones were still working the next morning, sending a signal," Tanya Coke said.
