A long time ago, in a galaxy called Milky Way, there came a duo whose name is Chis Miller and Phil Lord. They are set on a journey to make a spectacular film to show us the pure awesomeness of the legend that is Han Solo.
Since the start of "Star Wars", we are engulfed with the universe created by George Lucas. Many are overwhelmed with the unique yet resembling a familiar old western America vibe. May it be the location or the characters, you can trace something that is Western. One of the most prominent one is no other than Han Solo, the scoundrel, smuggler hero of the galaxy who will soon have his own spin-off movie anthology.
Though there is no title to the film yet, the Han Solo movie will soon enter production next year. As we all know the latest trilogy of "Star Wars" will have some intermission stand-alone films every other year the bridge the gap between the last set of trilogy. Although the first of these independent movies are yet to be seen, we can't just resist this untitled Han Solo movie.
"This moves closer to a heist or Western type feel. We've talked about Frederic Remington and those primary colors that are used in his paintings defining the look and feel of the film," said Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. With this in mind, we can expect to see a scruffy looking Han the smuggler and maybe Chewie pulling some heists to make some cash.
Fans are expecting a lot of explanations with this upcoming film. They are dying to know the early life of Han and what made him to a scoundrel making a living from swindling people. They are also curious as to how Han and Chewie became a duo.
The Han Solo anthology movie is set to hit thetheaters on May 25, 2018. But before all of that we will have "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" on December 16 of this year.
