The HBO's "Game of Thrones" hit after a significant portion of the world started to talk about the line, "Winter is Coming." To deal with the cold weather, "Game of Thrones" cast Tyrion Lannister has always put a bottle of wine around him for the warmth he needs.
With the Lannister clan on the scene, one of the most noticeable things is that they all have their goblets filled with red wine. Throughout the past six seasons of the "Game of Thrones," the HBO series fans are looking forward to finally knowing what is inside their goblets and glass.
Just recently, the HBO producers of "Game of Thrones" started to give the fans a hint of what will be their next new merchandise. Due to a high demand on knowing what Cersei Lannister and Tyrion Lannister drink, they have announced that on March 2017, they will be making these wines available for purchase at their HBO stores.
"Given the prominent role of wine on Game of Thrones and our previous success in the beverage category, an officially licensed wine for the show feels like a natural extension for our fans," says Jeff Peters, the HBO Director of the Licensing and Retail in Thestar.com. As reported by Winter Is Coming, the release of the most intriguing wines will make the avid watchers of "Game of Thrones" feel that they are part of the scene.
"Game of Thrones wines most definitely will add to the fan experience as the battle for the Iron Throne heats up heading into the final seasons," Jeff Peters added. So far, the HBO has shown the public of what are the wines that are to be released in the first quarter of 2017. They have introduced two of the "Game of Thrones" Seven Kingdom wines, a red blend, and chardonnay. Bottles of wine also have stamps of the families on the "Game of Thrones" to make it more classy and show-based.
