Kate Gosselin who starred in the reality TV series Jon & Kate Plus 8 is facing the prospect of working as a nurse again. The reality star told People she's "living very carefully these days." Gosselin's change-of-attitude reports say is due to her current financial situation. When her reality show was canned and she was fired from a blogging stint, Gosselin had to face the prospects of working outside of Hollywood again. She told media that she's "piecing and patching" finances together but also said that doing that will not work forever. Kate is quoted in one interview to have said, "To not have a reliable income is scary."
Kate Gosselin made it to celebrity news because of relentlessly nagging her former husband on air in Jon & Kate Plus 8. The former reality TV personality noted that she made mistakes. Now she's eating a piece of humble pie and said, "I made so many mistakes, of course." Kate seems to be ready to leave the past behind -even the good and the bad parts of her recent past.
"It feels like a whole other lifetime ago," Gosselin says. "And sometimes I don't even remember much of it. Both when the babies were first born and during the divorce, I was on survival mode. I feel like I've lived two lifetimes already. I'm not the same person I was ... I don't even recognize her," she adds.
The Gosselins have eight children -daughters Cara Nicole, Hannah Joy, Alexis Faith, Leah Hope, Madelyn Kate and sons Joel Kevin, Aaden Jonathan, and Collin Thomas.
The 38-year-old Kate Gosselin born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was married to Jon Gosselin from 1999 to 2009. She is a nurse by profession and looking into working as one again.
Following the couple's sextuplets, the Gosselins appeared in their own reality TV series. Gosselin has twins and sextuplets hence the eight kids.
