Everybody wants so many things in life. Happiness, freedom, love, name it; but there is this one thing that everybody wants to become too. Everybody wants to be rich (rich in money to be exact) and to be successful in life to be able to provide and afford anything for themselves and their loved ones. It may not always be spoken out loud but one can definitely see through a person's determination whether he wants to be a success or not. Though it's never easy to be rich and successful, especially to become a millionaire by 30, but one can definitely take small steps starting at the age of 20.
According to Entrepreneur, there are 9 things people who are at the age of 20 should do to become a millionaire by 30. One of them is to start earning at a young age and focus on it. Not everyone will win the million-dollar lottery and suddenly become a millionaire. One has to work on it and focus on increasing his income.
"My income was $3,000 a month and nine years later it was $20,000 a month. Start following the money, and it will force you to control revenue and see opportunities." Grant Cardone, an American author, motivational speaker, real estate investor and sales trainer wrote.
Second, it is important for one to save and invest. One has to have a bank account where he can put his money there and not use it on anything, not even on emergencies. Third, never stop learning new things. Learn even on failures and mistakes, it can help building oneself. Fourth, be wise in just about everything, especially in making life decisions. Don't make quick decisions, give things time and think it over first. Fifth, be humble and don't show off. Don't go looking rich and all by buying unnecessary expensive things.
"I didn't buy my first luxury watch or car until my businesses and investments were producing multiple secure flows of income," Cardone wrote. "I was still driving a Toyota Camry when I had become a millionaire. Be known for your work ethic, not the trinkets that you buy."
Sixth, learn when to take risks and know when to make changes. Seventh, go after larger things. They say "Shoot for the moon, if you fail at least you'll land among the stars" Eighth, learn skills especially skills that involve dealing and communicating with different kinds of people. Lastly, ninth, one should not settle with what he had already learned. One should know the importance of knowledge and should never stop learning.
