With less than a month from the release of the "Pokemon: Sun and Moon," Niantic seems disappointed after game hacks started to appear on the internet. As a response, Niantic plans to be rude to hackers, just like what they did with some of the accounts in "Pokemon Go."
"Pokemon" fans were seen to be so euphoric after the announcements that "Pokemon: Sun and Moon" will soon arrive, along with the latest generation of Pokemon. Their enthusiasm to play and finish the game seems fake after some have been reported to hack the game.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" players reported that they had encountered several errors in their saved game. This, according to the report of the Polygon, is the base problem resulting to people discovering hacks on the said game.
Then the "PKHex" started to ruin the normal game play of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" dictated by Niantic. By using this application, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players can change their location, as well as the battle rates of the game.
Hoping that using "PKHex" will add more flavor to the game, Niantic warned the players that they due to a mismatch in the data, they will encounter more issues in their saved games. Meanwhile, despite ruining the game, the producer of the app named Kurt started used his social media accounts to hit Niantic back.
Other than the Niantic, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players are also hoping that Nintendo will check-up the newly released Nintendo 3DS XL to avoid further issues. Players are horrified about the glitches especially that they are also highly anticipating the release of the Nintendo Switch.
Before the official release of Nintendo Switch, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players are expecting that both companies, the Niantic and Nintendo, have already addressed their issues in the 3DS XL version. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" renamed with "Pokemon Star" is expected to be one of the first games of Nintendo Switch.
