'Game of Thrones' is indeed one of the most popular fantasy drama TV series of the generation. Since its premiere on April 17, 2011, the series has been getting an overwhelming support from fans across the globe. The seventh season still to come, but fans already have questions and predictions.
Will the King of the North finally meet the Dragon Queen?
With season 6 ending with an exhilarating scene where The Queen sails the Narrow Sea on her way to Westeros alongside Tyrion, Varys, and a large fleet of thousands of Unsullied and Dothraki warriors, fans are expecting an exciting confrontation and a huge battle in season 7.
There are also speculations about the possible alliance between Jon Snow and Daenerys. In a recent report by Inquisitr, a twitter user uploaded a photo where actors Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) and Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) are filming a scene. The photo was said to be taken in Gaztelugatxe in Spain, where other characters such as Tyrion Lannister and Missandei were also spotted filming a scene. The photo could be a major hint that Jon Snow may have finally met with his alleged step sister, Daenerys Targaryen.
Season 7 to be released on summer
HBO has released all six seasons during spring, ordinarily in early April. While fans are expecting the same release date, executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss said that season 7 may be released a little longer due to the major development in the finale episode of season 6, as recently reported by Jobs & Hire. One of the reasons also concerns the climate and the upcoming season's theme "winter has come". The seventh season is said to have its premiere in the summer of 2017.
New and old characters will add on the next season's casting
The 'Game of Thrones' is known for its signature - killing characters without hesitation. Many episodes of the series have left the fans both sad and happy by taking characters permanently off the show without even a single caution for the viewers. Eddard Stark, Joffrey Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell are just some of the characters who were surprisingly taken out, although for Margaery there was a little hint in the earlier part of the Great Sept explosion scene. Meanwhile, the long-lost character, Gendry, is said to have his comeback in the next season. There were even speculations that Daenery's long-dead husband Khal Drogo could be back, as per Digital Spy report. The source also reported about the coming of all-new unrevealed characters which will be played by Jim Broadbent and Joseph Quinn.
Many more months are still to come and many things can happen between now and summer, so fans may expect possible changes. Stay tuned for more 'Game of Thrones' season 7 latest news and updates. Warning: The video might contain spoilers.
