43-year-old Lisa Robin Kelly known for her role in series 'That '70s Show' has died, her agent and friend Craig Wyckoff told reporters.
Kelly who played the older sister of Erich Forman in the series 'That '70s Show' starred alongside Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher in the series that ran from the year 1998 to 2006.
Labeled as a mystery, the American star's death was not due to drugs or alcohol after police found her room empty of such. She reportedly died in her sleep in a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles.
"Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years. I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her. (Wednesday) night she lost the battle. Cause of death has not been issued yet and no death certificate has been issued either," Wyckoff said.
After 2006, Kelly was no longer able to get a high profile role anywhere on television while her co-stars made it big. However, she became known for her troubles including an arrest November of 2012.
In June of 2013, Lisa Robin Kelly was arrested again for driving under the influence of alcohol. Due to her alcohol problems, Kelly reportedly admitted herself to rehab. Sources say the Connecticut-raised actress registered a .34 blood alcohol level.
Insiders of the rehabilitation facility revealed to reporters that there was no sign of obvious trauma or vomit in her throat during her sleep.
Lisa Robin Kelly started her career in 1992 when she appeared in Married...with Children. She also appeared in episodes of Charmed in 1997 as well as in Silk Stalkings, Late Last Night, and in the movie Jawbreaker.
