British Police Re-Opens Dodi Al Fayed and Princess Diana Accident In Paris, Renewed Death Probe Prompt Media Allegations Of Foul Play [DOCUMENTARY VIDEO]

Just a few weeks after Princess Diana's grandson Prince George is born, her death and that of her boyfriend Dodi al Fayed is being examined again after British media reports of foul play involving no other than the British Special Forces.

In spite of a $7 million probe done by the British and French police that gave no evidence of foul play, a report from a leading newspaper in the UK claims the love birds were murdered and that announcement of it being an accident was just a cover up.

The allegation came about during Sgt. Danny Nightingale's second court martial, reports say. Nightingale faced charges of illegal possession of a gun, according to The Mirror. Evidence presented during the court martial is a letter from Nightingale's in-laws that claims the Special Air Service "was behind Princess Diana's death", The Mirror also reported.

By Saturday, Scotland Yard released a statement that British police are looking into the accident again years after the tragic "accident" as new information has come up in relation to the deaths of the British icon and her current lover at the time Dodi al Fayed. British police declined to announce what the new information is, sources say. Scotland Yard told media in a statement, "The Metropolitan Police Service is scoping information that has recently been received in relation to the deaths and assessing its relevance and credibility. The assessment will be carried out by officers from the specialist crime and operations command." The statement also noted that the assessment is "not a re-investigation and does not come under Operation Paget." Operation Paget is what authorities call the operation that looked into what many deemed as conspiracy theories surrounding the death of the Princess and that of Al Fayed in the year 1997.

Buckingham Palace declined to release a statement about the new evidence that surfaced regarding Diana's death.
