Meghan Markle made headlines early this month when the world got wind that she has won the heart of Britain's most eligible bachelor. But it seems that the early romance between the two has fizzled out just as quickly: Prince Harry has reportedly gone back to his early playboy ways and has been cheating on the "Suits" actress.
GossipCop, however, was quick to shoot down the rumors. It turns out that the woman in question was 54-year-old Avis Collis, one of the villagers in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, who got to meet the Prince during his Caribbean trip. The woman shook hands with him and affectionally said "I love you!" and the Prince responded in kind.
These kinds of rumors perpetuated by web tabloids, along with numerous accounts of the press's invasion of privacy, is the main subject of Kensington Palace's post on Nov. 8, 2016. In the official statement concerning his romantic interest, Prince Harry says he is "worried over Ms. Markle's safety" and hopes that the paparazzi will "pause and reflect before any further damage is done."
There have also been reports that surfaced of conflicts between Prince Harry and the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William. The latter allegedly did not support Prince Harry's decision to disclose his romantic affairs to the public. Palace insiders claim that Prince William believes that his younger, more open brother did not help matters and simply made himself vulnerable to public attacks with his emotionally-charged statement.
These claims were again refuted by Kensington Palace. On Nov. 26, Telegraph reports that Prince William has in fact given the go-signal for his younger brother to release the statement. He believes that the situation calls for it and immediate action needs to be done. Furthermore, the Duke of Cambridge "absolutely understands the situation concerning privacy and supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him."
It's very likely that Markle will follow the footsteps of Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, as a "commoner" who found her happy-ever-after and was thrust into royalty. As per Jobs & Hire, wedding bells might soon be on the way for the actress and her prince.
