Man Found Shot Dead Inside Olivia Newton-John's Florida Home [VIDEO & REPORT]

An alleged 42-year-old contractor was found dead inside the Jupiter Inlet Colony home of singer and actress Olivia Newton-John at around 12 pm on Monday.

The contractor, who was apparently employed by the Hollywood star, and her husband, John Easterling, supposedly killed himself using a gun, Jupiter police said, adding that his name shall not be publicly released until the autopsy result has been confirmed.

According to authorities, a team of contractors working for the famous couple were frequently doing some house work inside the house, and on that day, one of the contractors began to shed tears having found the dead body. They called for professional assistance from the Jupiter Inlet Colony police, who responded promptly and arrived at around 12:15 pm, or fifteen minutes after the body was discovered.

Jupiter police spokesperson Scott Pascarella said that although the victim may have been granted permission to enter the house for professional reasons, he was not allowed to stay there for long. Pascarella also noted that the unnamed man was not a resident or, by any means, related to any of the homeowners in the Jupiter Inlet Colony, a coastal town adjacent to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse.

While initial reports insinuate that the death of the middle-aged man was suicide, police authorities are to push through with a death investigation to rule out the possibility that it was otherwise a case of murder. Additionally, Pascarella hasn't mentioned whether the incident involves foul play.

On the other hand, the seasoned Hollywood singer and her husband were not present at the time when the incident happened since the two are currently out of town for some business endeavors.

Additionally, GossipExtra has leaked that the celebrity's home was already under contract to be sold to famous television personality Rose O'Donnell. O'Donell allegedly sold her Miami mansion last June, so that she can realize the purchase.

Olivia Newton-John is the lead star of the motion picture adaptation of the Broadway musical "Grease." She won several Grammy recognitions in the past for her stellar performance as both a singer and an actress. One of the greatest hit songs she popularized was "Let's Get Physical."
