"Haikyuu!!" season 3 is nearing its finale. Yes, you heard that right (well you technically read that). Season 3 will just have 10 episodes compared to the previous season that ran for 25 episodes. We can expect that the match will be over in episode 9 or in the middle of episode 10.
My heart is still pounding after I watched episode 8. It is a jam-packed episodes with exciting and breath taking moments. As a manga reader, I have an idea of what will happen in the following episodes but before I lay it all to you, I am warning you that this will be full of spoilers and once you've read this, you can never take that back.
Going back to episode 8, Karasuno managed to have a deuce with Shiratorizawa by the skin of their teeth. After a long rally, which is obviously on favor of Shiratorizawa, Ushijima planted a devastating spike passing Karasuno's three man barrier. Shiratorizawa is now in match point and Karasuno's is about to lose hope. Thanks to coach Ukai's words of encouragement, there back on their feet and with another boost, Tsukishima returns ending episode 8 entitled "An Annoying Guy".
Karasuno will finally have their luck star shining on them on episode 9. They will their perfect line up where Tsukishima will be on the front marking Ushijima. They will continue their 'perfect defence strategy while doing their signature reckless attack. While on the other hand, Shiratorizawa will be relying on Ushijima's spikes and prediction blocks from Tendo.
The game will be stalemate without any of the team gaining grounds until the score will hit a 20-19 on Karasuno's favor. They will try to finish the game with Hinata hitting a minus tempo back attack with Shiratorizawa successfully blocking it. Karasuno will then follow with a synchronized attack where all players will jump including Hinata. The blockers will overanalyze that will lead to their defeat with a final score of 21-19.
With the closing of season two we can hope for a 'Battle of the Garbage Dump' in the national stage. However, season 4 not be coming soon as season 3 pretty much tackled all of the recent manga chapters.
