After the Halloween event of Niantic' "Pokemon Go" lapsed, players of the said popular mobile game have been long waiting for the next event. Now that Christmas Season is nearly approaching, players are highly anticipating the release of the same event. But now, for the most awaited holiday of the year.
According to the recent report of Express, Niantic has announced that there will be a Christmas event for "Pokemon Go," just the same as how they did it last month. There will be a set of Pokemon which players could expect to appear in the wild frequently, and that there will also be a lot of bonuses that they can avail just by playing every day.
In addition to the streak and other bonuses brought about by the latest updated, "Pokemon Go" brings back the double XP and shorter distances for your Pokemon buddy. To make it easier to understand, Niantic just used the same mechanics during the "Pokemon Go" Halloween Event.
This time, lesser Gengar, Drowzee, and Meowth, but more Clefairy, Clefable, Starme, Staryu, Seel, Dewgong, and Snorlax will be out in the wild. Among the seven holiday Pokemon, fans are excited to see Snorlax in the wild, since it takes 10 kilometers before you get one through your eggs. Of course, the Ditto feature is still left in the system, so who knows if your Snorlax will transform to Ditto after catching it?
In addition to that surprise, there are also tendencies that the legendaries will appear this month as a form of thanksgiving to the avid players of "Pokemon Go." Mystic players will now have a chance to get their legendary Articuno, Instinct will get Zapdos, and Team Valor will have their Moltres.
There are no words yet from Niantic on the exact date of release of the said update. Fans are expecting that this feature will be made available in the last week before Christmas Day, just how Niantic did it last ghost month.
