Baseball Player Shot Dead by 3 “Bored” Teenagers! Why Was 1 of the Killers Laughing and Dancing After Arrest? Watch [VIDEO] of Senseless Killing Here!

Australian baseball player Chris Lane was shot dead by three teenagers while he was jogging along a road in Duncan in broad daylight Tuesday afternoon.

Lane was 22 years old and was visiting his girlfriend and her family while he was in town when James Edward (15), Chancey Luna (16) and Michael Jones (17) decided that the baseball player was their target because they were bored and they were doing it for the 'fun of it'.

Jones claimed they didn't have anything else to do "so they decided to kill somebody". Michael, one of the suspects, has given a detailed description on what had happened, saying "They followed him in the car to that area, shot him in the back and drove off," Duncan Police Chief Danny Ford states. Jones further shares that Luna was the one who pulled the trigger. Until now, the gun hasn't been found yet. What's causing the greater stir in the little town of Oklahoma was how 15-year old Edward was reacting after being arrested.

District Attorney Jason Hicks says that Edward was 'dancing and laughing' as he was being taken to the station, clearly taking the crime as a joke. He, along with Luna was charged with first degree murder and Jones with accessory to the killing, as he was the one with the car and driving. All three will be tried as adults.

"He didn't deserve any of this," Sarah Harper shares. "It's heartbreaking that it was such a random choice those guys made that drastically altered so many lives in the process." Dino Rosato, the baseball player's coach recalls Lane fondly: "Chris was an extremely well-respected teammate. He set a great example for all of his team-mates, but more importantly for the younger players. He was a mature student-athlete who his teammates could look to for advice and support."

As for Luna's mother, she says,"I feel sorry for them, my heart goes out to them, it really does, but that's my baby too. My boy was a baby too."

Lane's family and friends are still in shock, with his father Peter Lane saying "There is not going to be any good come out of this. It was so senseless. There was nothing he did or could have done," and continues: "It's happened. It's wrong and we just try and deal with it the best we can."
