The American science fiction horror drama television series created by Chris Carter, "The X-Files" will be heading to the small screen soon. It was not yet revealed by the producers about its specific air date. On its upcoming season, there were characters who would reprise their role. On the other hand, possible reasons for its delay were revealed.
One of the longest-running TV show on Fox Network, "The X-Files" has been speculated that its upcoming eleventh season was currently having a delay. As the news leaked on the internet that the said TV series was currently facing hiatus, fans were in dismay for they thought that it would be released as soon as possible.
On the other hand, it was recently reported by I-Tech Post that one of the factors that might cause a delay on "The X-Files" Season 11 was its filming location. As the news released by the said site, it was stated that most of the scenes of Fox TV series were filmed in Vancouver. As we all know, Vancouver is a distant place where the lead stars of "The X-Files" actually lived.
Moreover, it was reported that Gillian Anderson would reprise her role as Dana Scully in "The X-Files" Season 11. Scully is an FBI Special Agent and medical doctor with a background in hard science who brought her scientific expertise and perspective to the X-files. Besides, it was not just her role that would continue on its upcoming season. David Duchovny and Mitch Pileggi's character would be back on set.
According to GameNGuide, Fox network wanted Gillian Anderson to be back on set for its upcoming season of "The X-Files". It was previously reported that Gillian's character on the said show might also cause delay. Fox wanted to confirm Anderson's schedule before the production began. As the news released, the actress had multiple commitments as has been lined up with different projects to be finished by the next year.
