"Jumanji 2," the highly anticipated sequel to the 1995 movie "Jumanji" had its plot inadvertently leaked by its stars. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Kevin Hart posted photos on social media to welcome the new casts. However, the photos' background reveals that they are shooting a scene in the jungle.
"The Rock" posted a photo on social media to welcome four young actors joining the cast of "Jumanji 2." The new additions include Madison Iseman, Ser'Darius Blain, Alex Wolff, and Morgan Turner.
The photo is split into two halves in which the top half shows a group shot of Kevin Hart, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black in the jungle. The lower half shows an individual photo of Iseman, Blain, Wolff, and Turner.
This seems to suggest that the four younger actors would be sucked-in by the board game "Jumanji" and would either encounter the older actors within the game, or the older actors would be the avatars of the younger ones within the game.
A The Hollywood Reporter, however, confirms that Alex Wolff will indeed portray the boy Spencer whose avatar in the game is to be played by Johnson. "Jumanji 2" is pitched as a "continuation" of the first "Jumanji" film. However, instead of bringing creatures from the book into the real world, the players are transported to a jungle instead.
"Jumanji 2" was supposed to be released on July 28, 2017, but was later moved to December 2017. According to a report from Jobs & Hire, the movie is much better suited as a Christmas movie than a family movie since "Jumanji 2" is a part of a huge family franchise.
A report from Parent Herald reveals that the "Jumanji 2" will pay tribute to Robin Williams during its screening. Robin Williams who starred in the 1995 "Jumanji" movie passed away in 2014.
With the "Jumaji 2" cast currently filming in Hawaii, fans eagerly await updates and news regarding the development of the film. For that, they must flock to the social media accounts of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Kevin Hart. Who knows, they might leak something new again.
