'One Punch Man' Season 2 Updates: Lord Boros Alive, Psykos The New Threat, Amai Mask Becomes Villain?

Anime News Network recently confirmed that season 2 of the anime series "One Punch Man" is on its way. According to the source, it was announced by the staff and cast during the "One Punch Man Fall Festival" last September 2016. Although there are no major updates about the upcoming season than the announcement, fans have already came up with a series of theories and possible events that can happen in season 2.

Is Lord Boros very much alive?

There have been numerous unconfirmed reports that point out to one theory - Lord Boros is alive. Some suggest that Boros did not actually die, that he is just on the brink of death. One theory also suggests that he could have been found by Metal Knight and transformed into some kind of a "Mecha Boros".

While others agree to this, some actually hope Boros to stay alive. They say there is no point reviving him if the purpose is to have another match with Saitama which is clearly too powerful for him. They think that if his resurrection will only cost him another death, it's best if Boros remains a dead guy.

Psykos and the Monster Association

In a recent report by Yibada, it was said that Psykos and the Monster Association bring new threat to Saitama and the rest of the Hero Association. The source also added that the power of Monster Association is almost on the same level as the Hero Association's S-class heroes.

Amai Mask becomes the new villain?

Aside from Psykos and Lord Boros, one of the new threats for Saitama is much closer the main character. Fellow Hero Association member Amai Mask is said to become more powerful than Saitama. Although this theory is hard to believe, fans claim that it is still possible.

However, these are just theories from enthusiastic fans. However possible, there still no official reports that confirm these speculations. "One Punch Man" season 2 will be aired in 2017 and may contain more than 12 episodes.

Meanwhile, on another anime update, "Naruto Shippuden" Boruto arc for 2017 has been confirmed? Check out a report by Jobs & Hire.
