The anticipation for "Kingdom Hearts 3" remains high, and fans could help but speculate on what the next installment would feature. According to reports, there are some clues that suggest Disney characters will make it to the game, including Baymax, Rapunzel and more.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" was announced in 2013 and has since become one of the most long-awaited games. It is anticipated to be released in 2017, with new features introduced.
In the sequel, Disney environments will be given focus, according to rumors. "Kingdom Hearts 3" is said to include features inspired by Disney's off the charts movies like "Rapunzel" and "Big Hero 6".
Previous reports suggest that Sora, the protagonist of "Kingdom Hearts 3", is already a more grown-up version of himself than what fans know of before. Sora, along with King Mickey, Donald Duck, Goofy and his best friend Riku, searches for the seven guardians of light and the "Key to Return Hearts" as they attempt to prevent Master Xehanort's plan to bring a second Keyblade War.
Based on some clues from trailers and gameplay demos, the game will have worlds based on Disney's "Frozen", "Tangled", "Wreck-It Ralph", "Big Hero 6", "Marvel", and "Hercules". While nothing has been officially confirmed, many fans are said to be disappointed given that Baymax is rumored to turn into an antagonist in the game. But as always, the game developer has to confirm the speculations by the fans according to Breath the Cast.
The gameplay for "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still the same as the ones released before this sequel, according to their director, Tetsuya Nomura. Tetsuya added that the Box Art for "Kingdom of Hearts 3" reveal details about the said game.
In addition, Gamingphobia said that the makers said that in a later stage in the game, the gamers who already had experience with the previous games would give them an edge.
Square Enix has yet to comment on whether "Kingdom Hearts 3" would be available on Xbox, given its page disappearing from the Japan Xbox website. But it is still listed on the Square Enix site. Also, Gamingphobia had said that "Kingdom Hearts 3" may also be released on the highly anticipated Nintendo console.
"Kingdome Hearts 3" is expected to be out in January 2017.
