Robin Thicke VS Justin Timberlake; Who Will Win VMA’s Video of the Year?(VIDEO+REPORT)

Robin Thicke is going up against Justin Timberlake for Video Music Award's Video of the Year 2013. While both singers presented fans sultry summer songs, "Blurred Lines" for Thicke and "Mirrors" for Timberlake, fans say that the fight is close between the two matinee idols. Also nominated in the same category are Bruno Mars for Locked Out of Heaven and Taylor Swift for I Knew You Were Trouble.

Robin Thicke recently made news after his steaming performance on his single, "Give it 2 U." The singer will be performing the same song on the VMA Awards program proper. Before the VMA, Thicke gave an interview with Sway Colloway, talking about his second song from the album, Blurred Lines, explaining that the inspiration for the song is the real star for him, which is his son.

However, Thicke is confident with going up against the likes of Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars for the Video of the Year Award. Timberlake is also nominated for Best Pop Video and Best Editing for "MIrrors". His other song, "Suits and Tie" is nominated for Best Collaboration and Best Direction. Suits and Tie is a collab between Timberlak and Beyonce's husband, Jay Z.

The Robin Thicke, who's now 36 years old received tons of positive praises for his halftime show with football players and the rapper, 2 Chains. The show, described as "out of control" by those who seen it, featured shirtless Thicke surrounded by women with bags of cotton candy in cute little parade floats.

The performance also included the Alabama State University's dance team called The Stingettes, and Thicke's son by Paula Patton, Julian Fuego. The little boy showed off his dance moves along with his father, confirming that he's got his father's talent.
