AL SHARPTON FAILS TO RESPOND TO CALLS FOR PROTESTS OVER CHRIS LANE'S MURDER; WHY IS CHRIS LANE NOT WORTH SHARPTON'S TIME? [+VIDEO]

Civil Rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton, who led the protests over the killing of Trayvon Martin's death, did not respond to calls and urges that he address the random attack that led to the murder of Australian collegiate football player Chris Lane.

When asked why he has not responded to any calls for a protest, the reverend said the reason why he is not protesting is because the killing was not motivated by racial discrimination and that "the system worked".

The Australian exchange student's life was taken away in a senseless death in the hands of three teenagers earlier this week. While a lot of people think the murder had a racial motive, Sharpton thinks otherwise and he feels that there is nothing to protest.

Two teen-agers, James Edwards, fifteen and Chancey Luna, who are both black, were charged with first degree- felony murder and will be tried as adults. Third killer, Michael Jones, seventeen, who allegedly drove the car that the three used duing the shooting still remains at large. He faces charges of use a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon and accessory after the fact to murder. Unlike the two apprehended suspects, Jones is white.

In the "PoliticsNation" segment of his Reply Al show, the charismatic leader addressed the matter when one of his viewers asked whether he would be giving a statement on the fallen exchange student's murder. "I protest when I'm called in and when there's an injustice. The three were arrested, there was nothing to protest. The system worked there, and racial? Not only did the police not say it was racial, one of the three were white," Sharpton said.

The lack of outrage that Sharpton exhibited in Lane's murders is perceived by his critics including topnotch business tycoon Donald Trump, as "hypocritical".

Sharpton sets aside the fact that one of the teenagers who killed Chris Lane sent out a tweet that said :90% of white ppl are nasty . #HATE THEM." Sharpton agrees with the police who believe that the murder was not racially motivated but a "random act" of violence.
