Away from each other does not mean something is wrong with a couple's relationship. This is how singer Keith Urban explains the situation between him and his wife, the beauteous actress Nicole Kidman.
The Daily Mail reported that Urban revealed in an interview that there are times when he and Nicole do not see each other for a longtime but these are situations in their career that cannot be avoided. They continuously adjust their schedules to limit the times that they are separated from each other.
Urban said that despite constant rumors of their splitting up, their marriage continues to be strong as ever. They just recently celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary.
Enstarz reports that Nicole is currently working on a movie being filmed in Louisiana while Keith is on a tour in Australia. They both are finding ways not to prolong their separation despite the long geographical distance between them. "This will be the longest stretch because she is filming in New Orleans and the shoot is longer than expected," Keith said.
The couple also try their best to be together in public in career-related affairs like Urban's CMAs and InStyle Awards or Kidman's movie premier "Lion." Urban said that the times they spend together as a family are usually done in Nashville and are not publicized.
Because the two are rarely seen in public, rumors are spreading that they are not in good terms with each other. Urban is usually the one who explains the situation when he is asked in interviews.
The couple knows that when they are given the opportunity to be together, they always find the time to be with their two lovely daughters and make the most out of the little time they have as a family. Keith Urban believes that they have the right to some privacy and do not have to tell the public what they are doing in their private lives.
