"La La Land" stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone had their share of mud as they mark their hand and footprints on a cement block at TLC Chinese Theater Wednesday December 7. The two posed for images after, showing both their muddy hands while inducing smiles and laughter at each other. How cute!
Emma and Ryan wrote their names above their hand and footprints along with their upcoming movie title and the date 12/7/16.The movie couple also appeared before the red carpet together with their other co-stars on the premiere of "La La Land" held at Westwood Village Theatre in Los Angeles on December 6, as per Just Jared report.
The "La La Land" is a romantic comedy-drama musical movie featuring the incredible love story of a musician and an aspiring actress which took place in Los Angeles. It stars both Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone as the main protagonists with "All Of Me" hit-maker John Legend and 45-year old actress Rosemarie Dewitt. The said movie is the third collaboration of both Gosling and Stone after their films "Crazy, Stupid, Love" and "Gangster Squad".
The hand and footprint ceremony, on the other hand, is said to be a tradition held to give honor for the great contribution of various artists and celebrities in Hollywood cinema. Aside from Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone's marks, the theater also bears the things made famous by certain movies such as the wands used by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint in their Harry Potter series.
Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling also revealed his first musical theater gig on ET Online, where he recalled being on his Elvis impersonator uncle's act. He even described it to be fun saying his uncle has been an inspiration to him. "La La Land" is set to hit the cinemas on December 9.
