There is a chance that the two beloved characters From "Guardians of the Galaxy," Rocket Raccoon and Groot will have their own standalone movie.Vin Diesel who is the voice of Groot said that Rocket and Groot having a standalone film is highly possible.
There are talks and speculations that Marvel Studios and James Gunn(director of "Guardians of the Galaxy") will create a spin-off movie featuring the duo pair of Rocket Raccoon and Groot.Many would like to see them more because their characters are so lovable.
In an interview with Screen Junkies,"If it's up to James Gunn, you're going to see a Groot/Rocket movie. After Avengers: Infinity War, it's highly possible." Diesel said
According to Hollywood Reporter ,last year,Marvel launched a Rocket Raccoon & Groot comic book series.That being said,the potential of such a cute pairing as a headline act is very likely.
In the comic book story,there are scenes wherein Rocket was kidnapped by a bounty hunter and Groot has to rescue him.The story is about their adventures and their times on Earth.There's also a peek on Groot's secret origin.
Rocket Raccoon and Groot make a great pair and they are enjoyable to watch.They seem to balance each other,Rocket's personality loves fighting and weapons while Groot is naive yet responsible and caring.
Cinema Blend said that James Gunn has a lot of pull to make a Rocket and Groot movie happen. Marvel releases a maximum of 2-3 movies a year which means that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would be a higher priority for Phase Four.
Catch Rocket and Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which will premiere on May 5, 2017.This time around Rocket Raccoon has to deal not with a giant Groot but a baby Groot.
