DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" winter finale will keep you wanting more as they have set up the Legion of Doom with yet another member. After all, it is what Arrowverse fans have been chanting for to appear in Season 2.
Since the teasing of the Legion of Doom in San Diego Comic-Con, "Legends of Tomorrow" will finally live up to the hype. In fact, during the first half of the season two members of the Legion, Reverse-Flash (Eobard Thawne) and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), has been on the search for various items.
More importantly, the Legion of Doom is now ready to expand its list. Expect that this Thursday's midseason finale (The CW, 8/7c), from two Legion members the gang will become a foursome.
After the addition of Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), as reported by Entertainment Weekly, the anticipated welcoming of Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) to the Legion is imminent. The "Legends of Tomorrow" heroes will have to prepare for Snart's return as he will not be the same as they remember.
"It's an incredibly fun episode," executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells EW, who maintains the secrecy of what agenda he has for Leonard's return. "Quite a few boxes get checked off," Guggenheim mentioned.
The Legion has been a "big trouble" for the Legends as star Brandon Routh has revealed to TVLine. He explained that "They've created so many aberrations that we've been after... It's mystifying because we don't know what their goal is. We can't get ahead of them. We're just constantly following after them [and] the breadcrumbs that they leave behind."
Moreover, with the return of Leonard Snart on "Legends of Tomorrow," Routh said that "I think if they saw him again, they might be very shocked. But at the same time, it's time travel, so we could go back to an earlier time and find him still alive."
Catching the "Legends of Tomorrow" winter finale will be satisfying until the end as Guggenheim said. "There's a surprise at the end that even if people are expecting it, they're not expecting the way we're doing it."
