"Fate/Grand Order" has been originally released as a smartphone roleplaying game, and a webcast last Wednesday announced that it will be airing its anime adaptation on December 31, 2016. This is probably in commemoration for the "Fate/Grand Order" fans who has been begging for an anime adaptation.
According to Anime News Network, the story is set on an era that oscillates magic in the year 2015. Caldea was made for the human's survival and security association. Caldea stands as an observer in the world that is not visible to ordinary human beings, and only beings with the ability to conjure magic can perceive. This world has been prevented by Science in its plans to bringing extinction to the human race.
Through the efforts of researchers the human history, human history will be secured for another 100 years in the future. Unfortunately, the world that has been observed by Caldea suddenly vanished speculating that the extinction of the human race might happen in 2017. This may have been caused by a recent extinction in Fuyuki City of Tokyo, Japan in 2004.
During that time there was an unknown world which has never been confirmed to exist until now. Caldea decides to issue the Grand Order for a "Holy Grail Conquest," to scrutinize and preemptively prevent the singularity plans of destruction that may bring extinction to humanity.
According to Crunchyroll, the casts will be Nobunaga Shimizaki as Ritsuka Fujimaru, Rie Takahashi as Mashu Kirieraito, Ayako Kawasumi as Fou, Madoka Yonezawa as Olga Marie Animusphere, Kenichi Suzumura as Romani Archaman and Tomokazu Sugita as Lev Lainur Flauros. Some of the game fans that have watched the preview are already psyched about its release this December 31, 2016. Type-Moon's "Fate Grand/Order" anime movie adaptation will probably have its previous anime series "Fate/Stay Night" and "Fate/Zero" fans craving for more adaptations. Subscribe for more updates!
