Sandra Bullock may be up for some tear-jerking drama for her new movie 'Gravity,' but this 'Miss Congeniality' star clarified that she will never give up comedy, and dished out the real deal between her dating rumors with George Clooney, Huffington Post reported Thursday.
In an interview with Reuters Television, Sandra Bullock talked about her new dramatic role, explaining how she had to ask some tips from the International Space Station astronauts, and remarked that this doesn't mean that she will be out from the comedy genre for good.
"I will do comedy until the day I die: inappropriate comedy, funny comedy, gender-bending, twisting comedy, whatever comedy is out there," Sandra said.
"Even a bad TV show - if that's where I have got to go at the end I will go there if it's comedy," Bollock said in the world premiere of her movie, which co-stars George Clooney, at the Venice film festival.
Nevertheless, aside from inspiring people for her love to comedy, Sandra Bullock might be involved in a real-life romance with co-star George Clooney.
British tabloid The Sun stated that George was "making eyes" at Sandra during the premiere, and even released a photo of the gesture to prove it.
However, Sandra Bullock straightened out the dating rumor through The Associated Press saying, "He was not making eyes. Maybe cross-eyes, but that is about the extent of his goggle eyes," adding that she and Clooney respect each other. "I adore George."
George commented on the issue, through a statement released by Warner Brothers, saying that he and Sandra have known each other way, way back even before basking on their triumphs as Hollywood stars. "So there is no pretense. We are just friends," he stated.
Meanwhile, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney were reportedly not the first choices of Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron for the movie, but Bullock prepared so much for the role to prove that she deserved it.
During a news conference on Wednesday, Sandra dished out how she prepared the for the movie, and even went as far as bluntly posting a question to the International Space Station astronauts, who called her back after receiving her question.
"I was asking silly questions, 'Where do you go to the bathroom?' and in the end I got a viewpoint of these people who we've idolized, these astronauts," Bullock shared. "And the viewpoint is that they care about life, our life and what we're doing with it so much - that's why they're up there. But I was really honored that they would call me back, and you know they are normal people who do extraordinary things."
