"The Walking Dead" series is one of the most popular TV show. With over 17.03 million audiences during the premiere of season 7, there is no doubt that this TV show really does have a charismatic effect on the people.
But then, after the first episode of "The Walking Dead Season 7", a major downfall of this series suddenly arrives. E! News reported that, after the first episode of season 7, from 17.03 million audiences, it drops up to 10.48 million.
Feels weird right? But what might be the reason for this sudden downfall of the so-called, best TV show of all time?
Killing The Favorite Characters Affects The Audience
A lot of people really do have a bias for Steven Yeun or famously known as Glenn. After the devastating death of Glenn on the first episode of "The Walking Dead Season 7", a lot of fans actually lose interest to continue watching the show.
Glenn was supposed to be dead a few season back, but then, the writer's made a killer script to bring back Glenn in the show, thus, making a simple scene more complicated than usual. Glenn's comeback also is a comeback for a lot of "The Walking Dead" fans, but how about now? Is it possible for this Asian guy to come back after the gruesome death he experienced?
Aside from Glenn, another character died, Abraham. Although Abraham doesn't appear for a very long time in the show, unlike Glenn who was been there for all 6 seasons, it was still heartbreaking for the fans of walking dead.
Too Much Violence In Episode 1
Another complaint about the latest season is that it is much gruesome than ever. But. literally, what would you expect for a zombie movie? Butterflies and Unicorns? Some say that people who react like this about "The Walking Dead" season premiere probably haven't seen any zombie movie and that AMC should continue and avoid issues.
Meanwhile, there are a lot of predictions for the upcoming midseason finale of "The Walking Dead" and the most famous predictions was posted by The Hollywood Reporter. Is Baby Judith in trouble?
One of the major cliffhangers of the season is that Negan is holding Baby Judith in his hands. While some predictions say that Negan might kill Baby Judith, but it is considered as something bound to happen because comic readers of "The Walking Dead" knows that Baby Judith will have a lot of scenes even after this season.
Another one is that Daryl will escape the Sanctuary and the Saviors before the end of the midseason and that Rosita will finally take a shot. Another thing is that there will be another death due to Carl's foolish action.
