Winter is coming. However, this is not the winter you are thinking. This is not about some hit TV show that is always warning us that winter is coming. This time, winter is literally coming and with it are tons of anime that avid anime fans should watch out for.
Kadokawa, one of the leading companies in the anime industry, decided to conduct a research about the most anticipated titles that will premier next January. Few days ago, the Tokyo based company, revealed the list of top 20 animes that was chosen by 14, 070 people. Out of the 14,070 inputs, 8, 281 were men and 5, 789 were women, with age ranging from 5-69 years old, taken from 47 prefectures all around Japan.
According to Crunchy Roll, stealing the top spot is the second season of the hit action anime, "Blue Exorcist". Kazue Kato's masterpiece will be returning to the TV screens this January 6. It's been five years since the anime was aired but Rin and Yukio Okumura will continue their devil-hunting adventures in the second season entitled "Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga".
Coming on the second spot is "Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation" by Wataru Watanabe that will be released on January 9. Next is "Showa GenrokuRakugoShinjū: Sukeroku Anew Arc" by Haruko Kumota on January 7.
On the number four spot, comes the "KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! 2". The hit Japanese web novel turned anime by Natsume Akatsuki will be having a second season that will hit the TVs on January 11. As reported by Konosuba Wikia, Kadokawa has published a total of seven volumes since October 13, wherein the latest volumes will be the material for the next season.
Other animes are set to air in January including "Scum's Wish", "Interviews with Monster Girls", "Onihei", "ReWrite 2nd Season", "Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club", "ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka", "Dragon Dentist", "CHAOS;CHILD", "Nyanko Days", "Fuuka", "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid", "School Girl Strikers Animation Channel", "Kemono Friends", "AKIBA'S TRIP THE ANIMATION", "élDLIVE" and last but not the least is "Masamune-kun's Revenge".
