This is what is news from the other end of the pond, as rumors arise of Pippa Middleton's possible, but secret, engagement to longtime (we consider seven months a long time these days) beau Nico Jackson.
The engagement has been said to be kept on the hush-hush, so as to not overshadow her famous sister Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, who has just given birth to little prince George over five weeks ago. However, tabloids and reliable tips have surfaced, reporting that the engagement will be announced and made formal this Friday, and that Pippa has been busy designing a ring, and planning the ceremonies at a local church near her mother and father's Bucklebury home.
Pippa, who graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, currently works as editor for her parent's company's web magazine, Party Pieces, has been with Nico Jackson, who graduated with a Business degree from Kingston University, Surrey, and is a real estate stockbroker, for seven months, after meeting at a London nightclub.
Nonetheless, the pair seem to be made perfectly for each other. According to Pippa various, "anonymous" friends, the relationship seems to be the real deal, which is as opposed to Pippa Middleton's previous dalliances and relationships. The pair has been seen spending a lot of time on the Middleton's family vacations, and all around town with other royals such as Princess Eugenie.
Nico Jackson's mother has also been reported as saying that she is about her son's relationship, that as long as they are happy, that all is well and good.
Several fans and friends have so longed for Pippa's turn for a fairytale wedding, which is reported to have been in the works for next spring.
No word yet if Duchess Kate will be standing as Matron-of-Honor.
