Another LG Electronics smartphone device is rumored to be coming to the market. The rumors added that it will not only be the LG G6 but three more V-series will be expected: LG V10, V20, and the newest, LG V5.
In October, OnLeaks posted a status on their official Twitter page citing that LG is developing a new unit which they first called LG LV5. There was a photo of the unit that serves as a sample of how the smartphone will look like. "Awaiting a fresh new flagship leak, this is roughly what the upcoming #LG LV5 (moniker TBC) looks like..." they wrote.
Two months later, the same source posted an update regarding the said unit. Photos and videos of the unit are emerging online. "#LG LV1/LV5 (moniker TBC) renders + 360° video, on behalf of @GearIndia..." they quoted.
According to the Gear, the name of the unit is not yet confirmed. However, it is believed to be called LG V5. If not, other possibilities include LG LV1 or LG LV5, just like the moniker used when it was first leaked. The name is dependent on the location of the launching.
Since the LG V5 has cryptic origins, the name makes it difficult to predict the possible price, positioning, and the handset. The source also cited that there's a high possibility that this unit will have a meeker lineage. The device features a removable back panel and it is embodied with a plastic cover. The curve back panel seems to add potency to the plain design.
Just like iPhone and Samsung, the LG V5 will have a fingerprint scanner. This will be the first unit with a fingerprint scanner on a mid-range LG. The device is speculated to feature a 5.3-inch display but the resolution remains uncertain.
LG V5 still uses the traditional micro-USB connectivity port with a 3.5mm audio jack. The rumors indicated that the new handset will be 7.5mm to 8mm thin with a dimension of 148.65 x 75.30 x 7.5/8 mm. However, the bottom is a bit slimmer than the top.
