Two weeks has already passed after Netflix announced its latest update, in which people can download certain movies or series to watch it offline. Now, Netflix has another application for Google users, Netflix VR offers to Google's own VR, the Daydream View its availability for users to enjoy.
According to Android Authority, the Netflix VR is already available on the Play Store and for those who have the Daydream View, you can now install the application on the Google's VR. This is an additional twist in viewing experiences which allows you to feel like you are really inside of the movie or series that you are watching. But then, Netflix VR should be download separately; one for the Google's Daydream View and the other one for the mobile device.
In terms of functionality, the Netflix VR does not have much of it. Looking up at the screen, if you click the chandelier, the setting will appear. In which for example, you can adjust the quality of the movie to make it clear and enjoy your viewing experience. Much better, you can also adjust the screen size so that you feel comfortable while watching and lying down. However, Netflix VR is only available for Daydream View, as of now. Those who have the Samsung Gear VR, for now stick to what is available on the Oculus Store.
Many users though of Google Pixel device are worried and complaining because after 30 minutes of watching and using the application, the device is already overheating. This is quite concerning especially after several explosion incident on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The users are afraid that the device may explode right in front of their eyes, which is of course no one wants to happen. But Netflix did not make any comment regarding the issue, although there are reports that the company is already improving the updates to address the concern.
In another report from Jobs & Hire, as of now, there are only two kinds of Google Phones that are available to Google's Daydream View; Pixel XL and Pixel.
