The "Gundam Versus" PlayStation 4 game recently revealed some additional mobile suits to be added in the game. This information came from Kadokawa's Famitsu Weekly magazine issued this week, and it has also stated a game-play report for the alpha version of the "Gundam Versus" PlayStation 4 game.
According to Anime News Network, the new mobile suits that will appear are Gundam, Guncannon, Gouf, V Gundam, Wing Gundam Zero, Tallgeese, Unicorm Gundam, Shinanju, Exia, Kyrios, Barbatos, and Full Armor Gundam. Famitsu has also revealed that the alpha version of the game will be featuring Boost Drive, Striker Select, and Awakening System.
This is very much different compared to the other game series released, since Gundam Versus was no adapted in any arcade game. Moreover, it was developed prior to PlayStation 4 only in mind. The game will be a two versus two battle game mode, and some other game modes might be added later on.
The "Gundam Versus" PlayStation 4 game celebrates the 15th anniversary of the game series. Unfortunately Bandai Namco has not given any official announcement regarding the game's Japanese release date. On the other hand, Bandai Namco announced in October that the game will also be released in English-subtitled version along with a Japanese audio in Southeast Asia.
According to an earlier report from Forbes, the 15th anniversary of "Gundam Versus" series takes place this year. In addition it has stated that Bandai Namco was clever enough to remind the people of the many games they have released before announcing their latest game title.
Furthermore, Bandai Namco has released a game titled "Rise of Incarnates" for Microsoft Windows. This is almost the same as "Gundam Extreme Versus" without the Gundam, and it easily fell apart because of its free-to-play system. The "Rise of Incarnates" was shutdown last year on December 15, 2016 due to its poor reviews, very small amount of players and possibly having no income.
The "Gundam Versus" PlayStation 4 game was been anticipated by Gundam series fans, gamers and critics. It was believed to be worth waiting for according to some speculation of fans and it was rather proven worth based on the trailer released on September 13, 2016.
