As Niantic is encouraging players to use their Pokemon Go augmented reality cameras to snap a picture of Pikachu in the festive hat and share it online with the hashtag #HolidayPikachu. Additionally, as Niantic says they will appear in "large quantities" now until the event wraps up on December 29. Players might not have trouble adding the creature to your Pokedex for then.
