'Final Fantasy’s' 30th Anniversary Offers Fans All Games In The Series Plus More

The "Final Fantasy" series will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2017 and fans will be in for a treat Square Enix will be offering all of the games in the series, both old and new. Aside from games, fans can also enjoy items and the series' movies and soundtrack.

According to VGLeaks, the "Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection" will feature the series' main titles, "Final Fantasy I" until IX. The collection will include two versions of "Final Fantasy I" to VI, the original NES/SNES version and the modern ports, which will give fans the option of playing the game in its original graphics or in an improved one. "Final Fantasy VII" until IX will only be available in the newest ports.

The collection will also include an English translation of NES' "Final Fantasy II" and III for the first time, which means fans of the game will be able to play the original Japanese version. There were parts of the original game that were cut when it was released overseas.

The celebration continues for the fans as Square Enix will also be launching the first episode of the "Final Fantasy VII Remake," and the "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" as the main games for fans to enjoy as part of the series' birthday celebration. The "Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy" will also be launching to the PlayStation 4 in 2017 and the bundle will include "Final Fantasy XIII," XIII-2, and "Lightning Returns."

Square Enix will be offering three versions of the "Final Fantasy Collection" and the first version is the Regular version, where it will include the "Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection" games and poster.

The second version is the Collector's Edition. It will include the "Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection" games, poster, an art book, an 8-bit Black Mage keychain, Chocobo plush and two discs that contain a selection of songs from Nobuo Uematsu.

The last version is the Crystal Complete Edition. This edition will include all of the games mentioned to launch with the anniversary celebration, the "Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy," "Final Fantasy XV" and all of the DLCs, "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn," which will include all expansions and a 3-month subscription.

The Crystal Complete Edition will also include special items for "Final Fantasy XI Mobile" and "Final Fantasy XIV." All the items included in the Collector's Edition will be part of the package, plus two extra discs for the soundtrack, a crystal necklace, a Moogle plush, a Black Mage statue, all three Final Fantasy Trading Card Game starter decks, the movies "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" and the "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV," and the full episodes of "Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV."

In other news, Square Enix's latest release, "Final Fantasy XV," recently released an update. The update includes revamping the story and adding content.
