Catherine Zeta-Jones, who is currently spending some time in Greenwich, Connecticut amid her and husband Michael Douglas' marriage crisis, was photographed still wearing her wedding ring, Yahoo! reported Thursday.
According to the press, the Oscar-winning actress was spotted in a small town outside New York City on Wednesday, wearing an all black ensemble with her most important accessory, her wedding ring, still on.
Catherine was smoking a cigarette as she walked around the streets and her expression was neither sad nor pleased.
Meanwhile, her husband Michael Douglas was reportedly wearing his ring on full display during a Berlin promotion of 'behind the Candelabra.'
The Oscar-winning actor even denied the issue that he and his wife are suffering from marital issues.
"I have a crisis at home? No, I think the press has a crisis," Douglas told the reporters. "We, we are fine. My wife and I are, are fine. We take a temporary separation, but the press, it gives you stuff to write about."
The separation and marriage crisis rumors surfaced last week after the reps of both Hollywood actors confessed to OMG! that they were taking a break as of late.
"Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage. There will be no further comment," their reps said.
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas tied the knot in 2000. They have been married for 13 years now, but have not been spotted spending some time together since April 22.
Another report emerged earlier saying that Catherine's maid of honor had confirmed that the actress was suffering from emotional and mental struggle due to the temporary separation.
"[Catherine]'s determined that it be life as usual [for the kids],"a source told People. Another source said that the actress had been spending some quality time with their kids, 13-year-old Dylan and 10-year-old Carys, engaging in horseback riding and swimming during the last days of summer.
