As fans are aware, Oscar winner Ben Affleck and popstar diva Jennifer Lopez were a thing during the year 2002 until they drastically called off their engagement in 2004. But still, Affleck still haven’t had enough.
After 12 years, Affleck talked to US Magazine about the events that occurred during his romance with J-Lo regarding the film they starred in, “Gigli.”
"It could have been a bad movie no one cared about. Angelina Jolie had a bad movie that year and no one cared. But it was because I was dating Jennifer Lopez that made it a big f**king deal. So not only was it just a bad movie but 'they dated each other,'" Affleck said.
The "Bennifer" romance was so intense that time, be it on screen or off screen, reporters would even go to where their films are playing. According to Affleck, a reporter is even having a stand-up report in front of the theater that morning and says that no one is in line. Affleck then joked whether is it a hurricane report he’s having.
After the fantasy famed couple ended, Ben fell in love with his co-star in "Pearl Harbor" and "Daredevil’s" Jennifer Garner. Their relationship started in 2003 after starring in "Daredevil." Jennifer Garner then gave birth to three beautiful kids of Ben. Affleck also said during the talk that the most defining moment of his life is the birth of his children and he added that Jennifer is “the best mom in the world.”
He also revealed that his child was the one who provoked him to accept the role of Batman since his child thinks of him as Batman, and when he’s out, the kid thinks that his dad is in his Bat-cave. Amidst mixed comments on his "Batman vs Superman" film, he would still portray the role in the upcoming "Justice League" in 2017.
Well, all things come to an end as Harper's Bazaar said that after the series of events, Jennifer Lopez ended up with longtime boyfriend Casper Smart that time while Affleck already had split with his wife, Jennifer Garner in July 2015.
