It's only been less than a week since Niantic released the first two Gen 2 Pokemon Pichu and Togepi along with five more Gold and Silver Pokemon. However, thousands of its ardent players are already starting to notice some major glitches from the latest update.
Gen 2 Pokemon Update is a Major Debunker?
So, a lot of "Pokemon GO" players has just probably jumped outta window when Niantic started releasing Gen 2 Pokemon. One thing is for sure, these ardent players definitely grabbed on their smartphone and just dived right into the street without beating around the bush. Well, that'd be after they jumped out of the window. However, it seems that they are left with nothing but disappointment and the update isn't actually what they were expecting.
No matter how Niantic emphasized the "hatch" word during the announcement, players are still expecting for Gen 2 Pokemon to be out in the wild. In a report by Kotaku, the seven new baby Pokemon are only available for hatching. On top of that, a player will have to travel up to 10 kilometers only to find out nothing to hatch. Well, that would be a major disappointment indeed. It was so disappointing for these players that they decided to take to Twitter their dismay. While some want the current Gen 2 to be out in the wild, most players are actually demanding for all of them at once.
Although it's reasonable to badly want all the Gen 2 Pokemon in just one update, it seems that Niantic is firm on their decision to release all the 150 monsters in an incremental update. Well, at least for now. However, players can always give their feedback on Niantic's social media accounts as the team assured that they always look into every feedback to review and make necessary changes.
Currently, there are only 7 Gen 2 Pokemon yet, namely Magby, Elekid, Smoochum, Pichu, Togepi, Igglybuff, and Cleffa. Players can expect that more Gen 2 Pokemon will be released in the coming days. With Gen 2 Pokemon on the loose, players can improve the gaming experience even more by using the 'Pokemon GO' Plus accessory. Yes, the much-awaited electronic device is now available in the market.
