England's favorite sister has just hit the big 30.
Pippa Middleton, younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, celebrated her birthday amid rumors of an engagement with boyfriend of six months, stockbroker Nico Jackson.
But hawk-eyed observers had been quick to note that Pippa wore no rings as she stepped out to celebrate her special day. For the past week, tabloids have been amok with speculations, expecting the couple to finally announce their engagement as part of the birthday celebrations, only to be met with apparent disappointment.
In honor of the three decade milestone, the birthday girl also looked back on the past, recently sharing her past days of playing school sports, as well as gushing about her schoolgirl crush on her then hockey coach.
Middleton, who enjoys playing Tennis constantly, has said that she would always envision herself on a hockey pitch whenever she would think about school sports.
She talks about the injuries she happily acquired during games, saying that the focus had been instead, on winning-and making sure that her hair, which she said she fashioned into a Sporty Spice 'do, is always perfect.
She then gushes about her coach Mr. Markham, their "fierce, but undeniably fanciable" Hockey coach. She described him as not having the traditional look of teachers, that he "could look at you in a way that can gets your attention."
The hype might not be very good news for Mr. Markham himself, who according to Telegraph, has just started a job as the head of a boarding school in Hertfordshire.
There is very little to be seen or said about how exactly Pippa Middleton plans on celebrating her birthday (she has, after all, been a party planner), with much of the spotlight remaining stubbornly on the rumors of her engagement. While the rumors appear to be founded on reliable tips, several other sources have denied that Middleton is indeed engaged.
