It looks like Amanda Bynes is going through a shocking transformation. The former Nickelodeon star's long locks were bleached blonde in late October 2016 and then she looked a lot heavier yesterday, December 14, in West Hollywood.
The "What I Like About You" star seems to have gained quite a lot of weight when she was spotted having a somber meal with Joy Stevens, her life coach and constant companion in recent months. Radar says that a source has exclusively told them that Stevens has been constantly keeping an eye on the former star's every move.
Bynes was reported to have committed several offenses after retiring from show business in 2012. She was nabbed for a couple of alleged hit-and-runs in that same year and was again arrested in 2013 for marijuana possession. She supposedly started a fire in front of someone's home and was taken to a psychiatric hospital where she was later confined.
She was released from the hospital in November 2014 but tweeted that she had been diagnosed as bipolar as well manic depressive. Jobs & Hire posted an update on Bynes bipolar in 2015 saying that the actress seems to be showing great improvements following her much-publicized meltdown.
Bynes, now 30, initially rose to stardom in the late 90's and early 2000's. She showed a natural flair for acting and started taking up children's comedy classes when she was seven years old. By the time she reached ten, she became a regular cast of Nickelodeon's "All That," the sketch comedy that successfully served as her first appearance on TV. Distinguished for getting her showbiz career off the ground, the actress spent a whole six years on the series until it ended in 2002. It is to this date still one of Byne's most-celebrated TV appearances, according to the Gazette Review.
A famous icon, the actress has gathered several recognitions and awards over the years; among which are five Kid's Choice Awards, a Kid's Choice Award from Nickelodeon, and an award each from the Hollywood Film Festival and the Broadcast Film Critics Association. She announced her retirement in 2012, although she did make an appearance on 'Fashion News Live' in 2015.
