It has been two months since Prince Harry revealed his relationship with Meghan Markle, yet the two have yet to make an appearance as a couple. But royal watchers got a treat this week as the pair was photographed while on their way to see a play in London.
The Sun was able to get several snaps of the royal couple as they made their way to the West End show “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime” on Wednesday. According to the publication, the couple surprised passers-by on Shaftesbury Avenue, said to be one of the crowded streets in the world, as they went on foot to the Gielgud Theater while accompanied by only one royal protection officer.
In the photos, the two are dressed casually for the outing, with Prince Harry in a grey coat and a blue beanie, while the “Suits” actress donned a black coat and a matching beanie. It was said that the pair held hands while they walked and that they booked last minute tickets to see the show.
The pair’s first photos together follow their first reported outing wherein Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted buying their first Christmas tree together at the Pines and Needles store in Battersea Park in London. Now, there are claims that the 32-year-old royal and the actress may have gotten secretly engaged.
According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry may have taken a leaf out of his brother, Prince William’s book as the latter got secretly engaged to Kate Middleton while they were on a safari in Kenya in 2010. It was said that a secret engagement would give Prince Harry and the actress some time before the media storm that would surely take place after the official announcement.
As previously reported by Jobs & Hire, there are rumors that the Prince is planning to buy a mansion for Markle in Los Angeles so that they would have a place to stay together when he visits her in the US. An insider told The Sun that the two are very much in love, and while privacy is important, they are not afraid to be seen in public together.
