Dennis Rodman Did Not Return with American Prisoner Kenneth Bae, But Lets Slip One of North Korea's Most Guarded Secrets [VIDEO & REPORT]

Former basketball star Dennis Rodman, known for his many eccentricities, has recently returned from a weekend trip from North Korea; the nation held its breath at the airport to see if the star had returned with Kenneth Bae, but had instead come home empty-handed-only to let slip something that completely surprised everyone.

He inadvertently let slip the name of Kim Jong Un's baby daughter.

"I held their baby Ju Ae and spoke with Ms. Ri as well," Rodman told the press, referring to the relaxing time by the sea that he spent with Kim and his family.

The accidental reveal is big news; the personal life of the North Korean leader and his wife Ri Sol Ju is top secret. Even Kim's age is unknown and uncomfirmed by anyone residing outside North Korea. Speculations surrounding Kim and Ri's marriage bearing fruit has surfaced last year, after a photograph showed Ri wearing a long coat that might have been to conceal a baby bump. However, North Korean authorities have strictly remained mum about the matter.

Rodman, 52, describes Kim to be a good dad. He has been criticized for his defense of the young North Korean leader, who he calls his friend, saying that he "is a great guy...interested in building trust and understanding through trust and cultural exchanges." Kim Jong Un, who is a big fan of basketball, has naturally bonded with Rodman, seen last February on Rodman's first visit laughing and eating while watching basketball.

However, Rodman had already revealed that his visit had nothing to do with the release of Kenneth Bae, an American serving a 15-year sentence of hard labor in North Korea. Bae had been convicted earlier this year of attempting to bring down the government. Bae's health has begun to deteriorate and has been sent the hospital for treatment.

While Rodman has often expressed a desire to help with Bae's release, it appears as though even his friend Kim could do little about it, having not enough weight to get him out of jail. When recently pressed on the matter, Rodman says that it is not his job to talk about Bae, telling reporters that they should "go ask Obama...or Hillary about that. Ask those a**holes.
