Several rumors about the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 have surfaced on the internet and here is the gist of it for you to believe or reject.
According to Ray Arena, the Mi Mix 2 will allegedly have a 6.4-inch 2K display with a 100% screen to body ratio. That means it will be completely borderless compared to the nearly borderless device of its predecessor, the Mi Mix 1.
It will also have a dual camera system in the front as well as a single rear camera. On the right top edge is the LED flash enabled telescopic camera, which will remain hidden seeing as the screen will cover the whole front.
To add to that, there is also talk that an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner will be positioned underneath the display. Xiaomi MIUI 9 and Android 7.0 Nougat are rumored to be the two OS that it will run on.
No official release or announcement on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been made and what is written above are all mere speculation. However, to get an idea of what it will be like, one can look to its predecessor.
The first Mi Mix was unveiled in October of this year. In a review by Android Pit, the phone boasts of a 6.4-inch display and 4 GB and 5 GB RAM depending on the type of phone you are looking to have.
It comes with 2,040x1,080 pixels and a pixel density of 362 ppi. It has a 16-megapixel maximum resolution camera, an electronic image stabilizer as well as a f/2.0 aperture.
Recently, Xiaomi also released its Nougat-based MIUI 8 OS, which is also known as the Global Beta ROM 6.12.8. For a list of devices that received the update, click here.
