It looks like Ben Affleck once again took a walk down the memory lane and cringed when he was reminded that he lead a "really bad" movie "Gigli" back in 2003 together with his former lover Jennifer Lopez. The bad movie was again brought up and it actually made Affleck blame Lopez his career failures.
The "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice" actor was recently asked to open up about the relationship he had with Jennifer Lopez. He then exposes that J-Lo was the reason why his career suffered so much and how it was almost the downfall of his career after they broke up. Jobs & Hire stated that the two started dating during the set of "Gigli" in 2002 and broke what they had off in 2004. The film was such a fail that it barely made any money, critics say that the film was "Impossible to imagine how it could've been worse."
Ben Affleck, according to Yahoo! Movies, mentioned that the romantic comedy film could have only been a bad movie that everyone will eventually forget if he wasn't dating Lopez that time (the part where he said that the movie was bad is true, but the part where he thought that everyone will forget about it is sadly not as true as the first one, though.) "But because I was dating Jennifer Lopez that made it a big f***ing deal, you know? And not only is it a bad movie but, 'They're dating each other in the bad movie!'"
The actor even brought up Angelina Jolie's "Tomb Raider," based on Celeb Dirty Laundry, for it was also released that year and it was also somehow a failure and people totally ignored it, unlike his movie with J-Lo that became truly the cherry on top of the year (Note the sarcasm.)
