The second "Deadpool" movie is finally in the works again after a recent report that the supposed-to-be-director, Tim Miller, withdrew from directing the movie. This had unfortunately caused some delays, but a new director had stepped up and he's more than willing to direct the upcoming second installment.
According to GamenGuide, Tim Miller backed out and will no longer be directing "Deadpool 2," instead, the director of "John Wick" David Leitch, will be the one to do it. Tim Miller's withdrawal obviously caused the production of the movie to be delayed. The reason why Tim backed out, however, was because his and the lead star's (Ryan Reynolds) dream for the movie were quite different.
Moreover, the production of "Deadpool 2" was initially announced to start on the first month of 2017 - reported by Screenrant. But with Miller backing out, the production will start in the middle of the year next year, although the exact date is not yet revealed.
Meanwhile, Jobs & Hire published that X-Men's Wolverine might appear in the movie as well. This left the fans ecstatic, claiming the fact that Deadpool and Wolverine have always hated each other and it would simply be interestingly awesome if the two would meet each other again. Ryan Reynolds once opened up about how much he wanted Wolverine to be a part of "Deadpool's" second installment, for he is also a huge fan of Jackman and how he portrays his superhero character, Wolverine.
Reynolds and Jackman are reported to be really good friends and the idea of Wolverine appearing in the next film might just be possible. However, there's only this one thing that's holding that idea back; it's the fact that Jackman had already stated that the last time that he's going to be portraying Wolverine is in his upcoming movie "Logan." Jackman will then be retiring and will no longer appear as Wolverine. Reynolds, on the other hand, is persistent and talked about convincing Jackman still despite his announcement. The film was reported to be released on January 12, 2018.
