The main story focuses on the tenants and employees of Donald Trump's Trump Tower in New York, but Trump himself appears from time to time to discuss whether to fire someone, to dismiss a tenant as a crazy person, or to talk about his own sex life.
Trump Tower is a very sexist novel. Almost every female character's level of attractiveness is described. Women's bust size is often repeated with lines like, "She was dressed in white, with her blouse open to her navel, which did nothing to hide her small breasts."
"Jeffrey Robinson's novel Trump Tower bares it all," Trump writes in the only review blurb on the back cover. "Here is the drama of the Ultra Rich, the Ultra Powerful, and the Ultra Beautiful who call the most glamorous address in the country their home. I can't wait to see it on television!" The author is Jeffrey Robinson. The book was supposed to be originally released in 2011 with Donald Trump as its primary author. The release was later delayed and when it was released, Donald Trump's name was no longer there, only Jeffrey Robinson's. The publisher was Perseus Books Group.
Trump has worked on a "Trump Tower" project since the late 1990s when he even tried to make a television show. Bob Frederick of the Canadian production company MVP Entertainment relayed to HuffPost that they even hired a writer out of Los Angeles and developed a pilot with Showtime. Donald Trump was glad about it because it was more of a "Dallas" or "Dynasty" kind of concept. Bob Frederick also said that although Donald Trump had no creative say in the series, they did write him a check for his rights.
That television show didn't push through, but Donald Trump continued to attempt and make the project work with other networks. See related article from JobsNHire Forbes 2016 Most Powerful List: Vladimir Putin Still No. 1, Donald Trump Follows
