Zoe Saldana secretly tied the knot with boyfriend Marco Perego in London last June, Us Weekly confirmed Wednesday.
According to the report, Zoe Saldana secretly married her beau Marco Perego in a small ceremony, where their close friends and relatives were the only ones primarily invited to take part in the meaningful day for the two.
"It was super small but very romantic and beautiful," an Us Weekly source said, adding that the attendees were mainly Zoe's and Marco's family and close friends.
The Hollywood star and Italian artist, who are both 34, were linked in mid-May after they were publicly spotted kissing after Saldana's 'Star Trek Into Darkness' L.A. premiere. However, an insider said in June that the two have "known each other for a long time," while another added, "They have great chemistry."
Zoe Saldana previously had an on-again, off-again relationship with actor Bradley Cooper from 2011 to 2013, But "Zoe's thrilled to have someone she can enjoy life with!" an insider said, referring to the Hollywood star's relationship with Perego.
The 'Columbiana' actress was reportedly engaged to Keith Britton, CEO of My Fashion Database, but the two called it quits in November after more than 11 years of being together.
The following year after their breakup, in an April 2012 appearance on Lifetime's 'The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet,' Zoe opened up about her yearning to settle down and start a family whenever she gets a chance to do so.
"I'm Latin -- we start young, honey!" she said. "At 22 you're like, 'I just wanna hold something!' You want a little critter."
"I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room full of yapping kids. But I'm a kid myself," Saldana added. "I get along very well with animals and children. I dig them, I get them. They make perfect sense to me. A child makes perfect sense to me. A child speaks more sense than an adult half of the time."
The New Jersey-born star has worked for a number of blockbuster films including: 'Avatar,' 'Crossroads,' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy.'
