The hardcore father of all mobiles is back! The most iconic brand seller of mobiles has been confirmed to return to the industry under the licensing of the HMD Global Company.
Nokia was the largest phone seller on the planet for more than a decade starting in 1998. But in the face of the newly emerging mobile companies, the last of its business was brought by Microsoft making brands under Lumia, according to Fortune. Now, it should really prepare everything before battling out co-Tech giants, Samsung and Apple.
Forbes confirmed this revival in an interview with HMD CEO, Arto Nummela stating “Nokia has been one of the most iconic and recognizable phone brands globally for decades. The excitement of re-introducing this much-loved, well-known and trusted the brand to smartphone consumers is a responsibility and an ambition that everyone at HMD shares.”
With HMD signed up to appear at Mobile World Congress in February 2017, much of the people look forward to Nokia’s comeback through the HMD Company.
Meanwhile, it’s hard to distinguish authentic leaks from fan made leaks. But given the image and the Nokia logo, China leaks the upcoming flagship Nokia phone. The flagship unit was given the title “Nokia P.” The specs include the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset equipped with 6 GB of RAM. What pokes the interest of the people is the 23-megapixel rear camera adorned with Carl Zeiss lens. Nokia had worked with Zeiss in the past, so there is no improbable thought about the said speculations.
On the other hand, the other smartphone is Nokia C1 also said to run also on Snapdragon 835 reported by GSM Arena. But this unit will just have 4 GB of RAM. The Nokia P with a Carl Zeiss lens is already an awe. But this handset’s camera setup is 16MP/12MP with a Triple LED flash and a red autofocus laser with xenon flash.
Consumers will soon be seeing this two monsters in the MWC in 2017. People shouldn’t get their hopes too high just in case the speculations aren’t true.
