Which ‘Star Wars’ Character Is Similar To Your Boss?

“Star Wars” mania has spread all over the world once again as the beloved franchise has returned with two films and is set to premiere more movies starting next year. To celebrate the release of “Rogue One” and while waiting for the premiere of “Star Wars: Episode 8,” let’s find out which characters share the same characteristics as your boss.

Career Builder has named the characters who workers think is most similar to their bosses. So which “Star Wars” character reminds you of your boss?

Jabba the Hutt

This gluttonous character made his debut in “Return of the Jedi” and is the most powerful crime boss in Tatooine. Jabba is known for being extremely corrupt and does nothing but order his people around while he sits and feasts and ogles scantily dressed girls. If Jabba reminds you of your boss, then use The Force to calm yourself down and find ways to deal with him in a professional manner.

Yoda

His name is synonymous with wisdom, and behind compared to Yoda is probably one of the greatest compliments that any boss can get in his entire career. Apart from being wise, the diminutive Jedi master also leads by example as he can join any fight if the need arises. If your boss is a great mentor and can be counted on be hands-on in any endeavor, then lucky you. You’ve got yourself a Yoda for a boss.

Han Solo

This character is known for his good looks, wisecracks, and his tendency to insist on doing things his own way. A boss who is very much like Han Solo can be resistant to change, but he will rise to the occasion when he sees a worthy cause.

Princess Leia

The Princess is an idealist and wants to save the world from all evil. If your boss does a great job leading the team and at the same time, finds ways to volunteer at a soup kitchen, build a shelter for the homeless, or plant trees to save the planet, then he or she is definitely a Leia.

Luke Skywalker

Luke has the potential to be a great leader, but he still has a lot to learn. If your boss is on the younger side but shows some promise of being a good leader, then give him some room to grow—you might be surprised at what he’s capable of.

Darth Vader

Darth Vader went to the Dark Side a long, long time ago and it might be too late for him to redeem himself. If you hear “The Imperial March,” or Darth Vader’s theme song in your head every time your boss walks by, then it’s likely that he or she shares a few qualities with the Jedi formerly known as Anakin Skywalker. Don’t get on his bad side, follow the rules, and you’ll be golden in Darth’s eyes.
