Business entrepreneurs are assumed to prioritize function before form and place portability on the top of the list in using laptops for work. In that case, ASUS claimed that they got the right laptop for these kinds of businessmen by presenting the ZenBook 3 Deluxe.
As reported by NDTV, the Asus ZenBook 3 Deluxe was unveiled at the CES 2017 event, and with its 1.1kg weight, it is claimed as the "lightest business notebook in the world." The 14-inch FHD displayed laptop is said to be covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which would make it hard to break in case of fall. More so, it has a 12.6-inch screen, only 0.4 inches smaller compared to MacBook Air, which measures 13-inch wide. The ZenBook is available in either Intel Core i5 and i7 series.
Moreover, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe despite being lightweight, is said to be packed with the latest heavy Kaby Lake processors and features three USB-C ports, two of which support Thunderbolt 3, according to The Verge. It has a 16GB RAM with 512GB SSD storage.
The ZenBook 3 Deluxe also modified its keyboard design with a fingerprint scanner on the top right of the mousepad. The keyboard was altered into a stunning design with 1.2mm of key travel for typing ease purposes.
The outer appearance is made up of very thin bezels at 7.46mm wide and a lightweight magnesium alloy, which made the laptop the most convenient for a business traveler due to its portability, as mentioned by Engadget. Its 12.6-inch display is also what renders the ZenBook's quality to meet the demand of people who are seeking a big screened yet portable business laptop. Besides meeting the demands, of course, its battery life offers an appropriate 10 hours of use.
The ZenBook 3 Deluxe is expected to be released in May 2017 with a price tag of around $1,699. Zenbook UX510, Zenbook UX330, Zenbook UX310 and other VR-ready compact ASUS desktop PCs are also set to be launched in May this year.
